Data protection declaration for the internet page of Life Division

This Data protection declaration applies only to the information collected by Life Division Ltd. (“Life Division”, “we,” “us” or “our”) from visitors (i.e. guests) of our internet page. We provide certain products and services that may have supplementary data protection declaration or policies which explain in more detail our specific privacy practices in relation to those products and services.

The purpose of this Data protection declaration is to inform you of the nature, scope, and purpose of the personal data we collect, process and store about you or you provide to us while visiting our internet page.



General provisions

Data protection is of a particularly high priority for Life Division. The use of the internet pages of Life Division is possible without any indication of personal data; however, if you want to use special services via our internet page, processing of personal data could become necessary.

The processing of personal data, such as Internet protocol address (IP address) shall always be in line with the Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Life Division.

As a controller, Life Division has implemented numerous technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal data processed through this internet page. However, Internet-based data transmissions may in principle have security gaps, so absolute protection may not be guaranteed. For this reason, you are free to transfer personal data to us via alternative means.



Collection of general data and information

The internet page of Life Division collects a series of general data and information when a data subject or automated system calls up the internet page. This general data and information are stored in the server log files. We may collect your IP address or you e-mail address, that you have used for your registration.

When using these general data and information, Life Division does not draw any conclusions about you. We need your IP address to identify the country that you come from. We use a local database to identify the country, but it is also possible that we may use an external database. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by you.

In case you forget your password, used to log in to our internet page, we will ask you to provide us your e-mail address.



Cookies

The Internet pages of Life Division use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an Internet browser.

A "cookie" is a small text file that our web server sends to your computer's cookie folder or your mobile device when you visit our internet pages. Through the use of cookies, Life Division can provide the users of this internet page with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting. We use the "cookie" to allow us to determine which server you are connecting to, and to recognize which language you use. We need that information to offer you a complete service.

You may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies through our internet page by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Legal basis for data processing

We process personal data on the internet page based on Article 6(1) lit. f) of the Regulation (EU) 697/2016, which stipulates that the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Life Division and its shareholders, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.



Period for which the personal data will be stored

We hold your personal information only as long as necessary. Life Division shall keep your personal data for as long as you use our internet page. We do not keep information about your IP address after you stop to use our internet page. However, after you ended using our page, we may keep your data for up to five (5) years in accordance with the Laws governing Life Division.



Disclosure of personal information

Life Division will not share, sell, trade, rent or otherwise disclose information about you to third parties unless we have specifically informed you and you have given us specific permission to do this.

However, there are exceptions and we may share your personal information with third parties, but only in the following circumstances:

Life Division does not contain links to other internet pages that are not operated by us.

Your complaint will be sent to Life Division privacy officer. It is Life Division policy to handle complaints in a timely, effective, fair and consistent manner. On making a privacy complaint to Life Division, you will receive an acknowledgment letter or email within 5 business days. This communication will be set out by our privacy officer, you will receive the name of the person and the expected response time for the complaint. Life Division endeavours to make a decision on all written complaints within 20 business days after a complaint is received. If we need more time to respond to your complaint we will notify you as to the delay, the reasons for it and seek your agreement to a longer period.
